Hardware convert midi to gbs??

hello all,
i am wondering how to make my own gbs files so that I can make tunes on my computer and then play them off my gameboy.
i thought there must be some sort of converter app that can do midi to gbs. does anyone know of one anything that could help me out? thanks in advance for any help, greetz, moloko

You could probably convert from GBS to MIDI with the right tools (perhaps custom-made), but I highly doubt the reverse is possible.
