Gaming component cable / video issues

Hi i just turned on my wii and the video is not coming through - it is not the tv as it works on that input with a dvd player and the video comes through in regular composite
has anyone else had an issue - i am hoping it is bad cables - i sort of got a bit of a messed up video for a few sec when i moved the cable around

hope it is not the wii...


*** i am ordering a better new component cable and hoping for the best

***note the audio works through the cable - could the wii not be switching into 480 p properly????

looks like it is the tv - it just died on my dvd player component hook up as well

call into Warranty repair
