Hacking CFW+Sky3ds. does dumping a retail cart to .3ds keep that carts private header?

of do you still need to use header fetching tools to inject?

If dumps direct to .3ds file work fine whe ncopied to a sky3ds, then cfw+sky3ds sems a reasnable method to play all your legally backed up flashcarts with no risk of ban.

so what is the proper way to dump a 3ds cart to .3ds and include it's private header?

You can dump it with the Gateway tool but it's not perfect or you can use the Gateway ROM tool to put it back in.
Personally I just put the header in the cfg to overwrite the one in settings.txt.
