What do you mean, lazy? What he's saying is right, it's against the law for companies to purposely brick their customers' devices.
Unlikely you'd even get banned at this point, since Nintendo have long since given up on the Wii U and prefer to pretend it doesn't exist nowadays.

Yeah but what if some were too use fly hacks in Splatoon (If thats even possible) wouldn't Nintendo serve some sort of punishment?
