I was wondering if there was any way I could get codes from the clean version of a game (already existing in usercheat.dat) and somehow get them to work with a hacked game.

I was going to try and restore cheats for the two Pokemon hacks I have on my TT...

Okay, I already had R4cce to look for Game IDs of hacked/translated games.

I guess I'll just copy the Platinum and SoulSilver codes I need to their respective game IDs.

The question is...how do I do that?

userchat.dat uses the original decrypted game ID as is

TTdT.exe to edit extinfo/infolib uses the encrypted gameID, But play with original decrypted rom as is

SoulSilver use original gameID

Right click - new game - use the three dot's on the right to open your rom / gamecode and id will be in the two boxes

Are you asking to get the gameID for usercheat.dat ?

Green GameCode - Blue GameID

No, that's not what I'm asking at all.

I'm asking how to copy codes from one cheat list to another, so I don't have to go and put in all those Platinum/SoulSilver codes one by one.

I went and added both IDs to infolib and extinfo, too.

Click on the GameID file , then right click copy, close - open your next userchat.dat , then click on gba then paste

I would recommend one at a time - then do a sort and save

If not then click on GBA right click / select all and copy all

Select all seems to just select, well, all the codes for every game...

If your only trying to get the cheats working on those hacked games then you can just change there game ID in the usercheat file you have.
Open the file with R4CEE, Go down and click on the Pokemon Platinum entry (use which ever version you want), now click on the three dots icon by the game ID and simply select your hacked version of Pokemon Platinum. Do the same for your SoulSilver and save/exit. You should now have access to the cheats.

I take it it worked so!!

Yeah, though the Black Screen Fix code didn't fix the problem I was having with Twanny Bizzle's Neo SoulSilver hack.

I'm going to try the Walls Never Collapse code in Platinum out!

What does that do?

It lets you pick and hammer away at a wall until you find everything, since they won't break.
