Hacking Can emulation with the DSTwo damage the 3DS battery?

I heard that emulating with the DSTwo drains the battery very quickly, but I just wanted to know, if I decide to completely drop the card and only play 3DS games, will my battery life be affected in any way? It sounds a bit silly, but it's just my paranoia acting up.

No, modern devices will shut off before the battery takes any damage from drain, and you can't drain it harder than from normal use or anything.
