Hacking Broken R4i gold card (r4ids.cn)

My R4i gold card from r4ids.cn is broken.how to fix it,i tryed many ways like...: putting newest r4 wood, the patch for the r4i gold non 3ds card (dsi 1.44 patch) with a NDSL, and read the Upgrade guide for the old R4i gold(non-3DS or failed upgrading) card (Jun. 15th,2011). HELP, please with fixing the card....

Why do you choose V1.44 patch for r4igold non-3ds?
Have you pressed KEY_B during the updating process?
You can judge your card is 3ds or not by this way.

Please select the correct patch.

I download the latest wood r4 again ( 1.48 i think) and tried to do the The DSi V1.44 Patch for R4i Gold 3DS(for R4i gold 3DS card only)(Mar.29,2012) on a NDSL. I pressed B when i booted the patch, and i got this:
Card Type : R4i Gold N3DS
System Ver: 3DS 1.0 NDSi 1.41
Then i pressed A and :
Card Check : Fail
Result : Press KEY_A Again
i tried a couple of times but no luck....

Oh,also the working card from which i started the patch is M3 DS Real.... I dont know if this affects the patch,so i let you know that....

i tried the NDSL one only, because i dont have a dsi

the other one is the working one

i used the DSi version to update a card on a Phat DS

they made a mistake by labling as people didnt read the read me propperly

the DS version is for Broken Cards (where the header became corrupt in the updating progress), the DSi is for working cards

but,my r4i gold card doesnt work anywhere:3ds,dsi no icon-ds freezes on safety screen
doesnt that make my r4i gold card get the official name "Broken Card"?

well if you have tryied both with the card inserted then the update is saying your cards a fake

i retryed the NDSL patch and it also says Fail Both when i press A and B buttons

I know what i'm about to say sounds stupid, but it worked for me.
Load up the patcher on your DS, press B, have it say fail.
Take the R4 out of you ds (with the patch screen still up), take it completely out.
Put it back in and press Key_A again.

Don't know why it worked, but it did.

It could be a connection problems, I found it very rare for the R4i Gold, but not impossible.
Check out this guide, it maybe for the Acekard, but I have found this work with my R4 and M3 Real when it had problems like this.

nixshadow i did what you said and it resulted on now working the status when i press KEY_B : Card type : R4i Gold N3DS - System Ver : 3DS 1.0 NDSI 1.41
but when i press KEY_A says Fail

Catboy ill check the guide [edit: Nah,my card does not have connection problems,im sure]

Oh, your card isn't an R4iGold, it's an R4idsn, they are made by the same people, but still not 100% the same card.
You need to go to this site and download this file (direct link) and then it should work.
