haha, no worries. Anyways, just wanted to try 1.2 with Secret of Mana (Germany) but that one's freezing the whole 3DS, resulting in me having to turn it off and on again. This happens at the Nintendo logo (dunno if it's needed but touchscreen says: ROM type: headerless HiROM, ROM size: 2048KB / 32 banks, SRAM size: 8KB, sysram = 002BE800). That's with hardware renderer, gonna try software now, will edit the post.
€dit: Well, it was worth a try I guess, but same result, heh.
€dit2: Super Metroid and Lufia seem to be running really really well, especially the sound. Amazing work, StapleButter!

Oh wow, thanks for the update! The whole emulator isn't freezing when I try to exit or select a different game. Also, the Fire Emblem games are booting now! (Though I haven't tried the English translations yet - will test later).

There's a bug in the newest 1.2 version in Super Star Wars the empire strikes back too where the menu input is all weird.

jst use data manger in setting? i read somewhere it breaks something if you go in there,can't remember what but i think it might just be themes,i have installed theme pack

You can remove cias in the devmenu. You will need to know it's id though so you don't delete other cias.

Those likely won't be supported for some time, if at all. The base emulation needs to be handled first (and those special chips are an extension to what the system already offers). Those require additional computing power, which is why StapleButter is doing his best to try and implement what he can through the GPU to free up from the CPU.

Well, this emu is just beginning, and although the ds2 emu has more features(saved states, cheats, rewind, fast forward, etc.), but Blargsnes is pretty good.

Er Staple Butter, My 3DS sent me to show you this:

The game (Home Alone) straight out crashed the version before. Here is the RAM dump found on the SD card.

Also, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 broke between the 2 official versions, they are not booting at all in this new version.

Has anyone tried using the SNES test program yet?

I make a point of running this official service testing program on all kinds of SNES emulators, and blargSnes 1.2 trips up on a lot of things.

1. Electronics Test
Fails - Doesn't even display the usual "FAILED ELECTRONICS TEST" message, instead emulator debugger returns "UNSUPPORTED VRAM MODE 84"

2. Character Test
Most things work, but there are failures.
- After Star sprite rows, debug message "!! SMALL SPRITES"
- Does not display the two halves of Service Mario graphic
- SMB3 promo art test fails to do the mosaic pixelation effect
- Cannot display the "Look for stars" portion at all, or the multiple Service Marios frame.
- Mario rotating test is slow (performance issue)
- Unable to flip the SMB3 promo art, despite being able to flip the Princess Peach sprite earlier

3. Controller Test
Each button press is responded to with a sound effect, but there are no visuals.

4. Sound Test
Sound output is pretty clear, but it's monaural, including speaker or headphone jack output.

5. Color Test
No issues at all, pixel-perfect on 3DS display.
There is some overscan that bleeds out of the top and bottom of the boarder.

6. Accessory Test
Detects that no super scope is inserted, and that no mouse is inserted. Menus function fine.

I tried booting Seiken Densetsu 3, knowing it's one of the few hi-res games on the SNES.
Surprisingly, it just boots to the Music Test screen, and no inputs work.
Normally you access this screen by holding L+R and pressing the reset button.

Alrighty, looks like Secret of Mana (Europe) doesn't work either (3DS freezes at Nintendo logo) and FF3/6 Rev A is the same as the normal one, freeze with black screen. But other than those, I love blarg already more than the SCDS2 SNES emulator(s).
