The last unofficial build worked really, really well. Can't wait for a proper release! This emulator has come a long way in such a short time! Thanks for all of your hard work, StapleButter!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but saved states would be relatively easy to implement, right? Isn't it basically just a RAM dump?

The previous problem of Final Fantasy IV (Eng translation) locking up controls at the first dialog box is now functioning correctly with the latest unofficial build. Perhaps it was related to the Earthbound input problem. Windowing for fades/transitions is off (leans to the right rather than the center), but it's not something that interferes with gameplay whatsoever from what I've seen.

BlargSNES was the first program I tried with ninjhax, and is my favorite program so far.

I'm up to where you can first save. As far as I can see, there's nothing that interferes with gameplay, which is a major plus. Of course it has its clicks.
  • Windowing is off (leans to the right)
  • Slowdown in major areas like courtyard of Baron's Castle, but not with interiors.
  • Save window within the menu has odd coloring.
  • Various things are 1 scanline off, like dialog boxes, names, etc., usually cropping at the bottom.
  • Many sound effects either don't play, or sound off.
  • Obvious missing mosaic effect.
Again, none of these things interfere with gameplay, and what it does works very well.

e: cia version doesn't like sleep/suspend.
ee: just seen there's more fixes..
eee: still as above. 3dsx doesn't crash on sleep, but doesn't pause.

Well the most recent build is tagged with version 1.2 so I think the official release is near.

The hardware renderer is about on par with the software renderer, minus a few details. Software is also slower than in 1.1, that is a side effect of making the SPC700 synchronous. This change was required to get proper sound output, though.

shit how do i remove other builds from the home menu i installed as /CIA files?
jst use data manger in setting? i read somewhere it breaks something if you go in there,can't remember what but i think it might just be themes,i have installed theme pack
