Gaming Bizarre SD card Malfunction

Ok so my friend gave me this sd card ad told me it wasn't working I put the thing in my blackberry and tells me it needs to formatted. So I plug it up to my computer to shocked at the potential storage capability of the card.. It read 1.30TB.... WHAT THE FUCK!?! Why??? This doesn't even make sense... ok but my real question is, is it possible to fix it? It will not format so is there some special tool that's good for fixing weird cards like this?
