Hello everyone. Feels like it's a long time since my last visit. These last years, I've been polishing my new platformer: "School Rush" featuring Bilou. I got gameplay fixed, levels polished and pixel art improved. I'm stll doing some maintenance on the game engine code, esp. to make difficulty selection easier to the audience. I hope to have an improved version to release soon. For now, allow me to tease you with a few animated screenshots i grabbed last week-end. Get it and try it: "cow" version, 2016.05.09 -- (direct link) "splashed" version, 2017.06.03 -- (direct link) If the name wasn't clear enough, the game is first racing against raising ink level to get to the end of the level and ultimately find a way to stop the ink from ever coming back. Please do so before all the book contents gets lost forever. Oh man! the last official release is almost 1 year old. I'd better stop posting and go back coding ... (A) : jump, bounce (B) : grab, throw There are many ways you can use the inhabitants of the school to assist you in your quest. The only one you should really watch out are the pendat invaders. It's been said they are behind the sudden raise of the ink. They seem to have gathered unusual powers. - the twist power : if Bilou gets it, he'll have the ability to float in the air while you hold (A) after a jump or double-press (A) while falling. The more such power-ups you collect, the further you can float. - the punch power : if Bilou gets it, he can grow his punch almost as large as his headbody for massive damage. He can then take out almost any inhabitant of the school in one punch, then. Use it wisely. Oh, and don't forget: you have to rush before the whole bookcity gets irremediably soaked. You can run if you hold R down, double tap a direction on the D-PAD or even do a funny move such as ↓↘→. As your fingers find it easier.
