While it's not something that's just come out, I wanted to remind everyone that Ibrahim778's "Better Homebrew Browser" has been recently updated with several improvements, including a spanish translation, and especially notable that it has also incorporated a bunch of the classic and now obscure PSP homebrew, which forms a big part of the PSVita homebrew story itself, to download directly from the app (yes, VitaDBD also has some PSP content, curated by Rinne I think).

You can get and follow this app here or by VitaDB itself:

In this way it recovers a collection that was previously accessible from the old Arkanite's "PSP Homebrew Browser" app ( https://www.psx-place.com/resources/psp-homebrew-browser.580/ ) As you may know this stuff is natively usable on PSVita. I think it's VERY important that a lot of that stuff is still accessible and preserved.

In addition to this, I wanted to highlight that Better Homebrew Browser by Ibrahim778 is an excellent alternative to VitaDB Downloader and in my opinion it even surpasses it in several aspects:
One of the things for which it stands out is the ability to use both VitaDB and CBPSdb as sources to obtain VPKs and their data files, since as is known, not all the content is found among the different databases which allows us to obtain the greatest amount of content directly on the console.

Beyond their differences in content, I like the BHBB interface most: the touch capability, it is visually more pleasant and easier to read, and especially for the possibility of downloading in the background. The integration to the Vita official UI and the download in the background is impeccable and gives it a "Sony quality" to its use.

As a sidenote I wanted to mention the classic brewology.com as another alternative database to consult from a PC, which although it seems to have been abandoned recently, has the largest amount of stuff of all kinds, especially from the early eras of both PSP and PSVita scenes, content that is very difficult to find anywhere else:
PSP: https://www.brewology.com/downloads/?dcid=1
PSVita: https://store.brewology.com/vita/homebrew.php?lang=

It is also good to mention Gamebrew.org , which is a relatively new site but very well curated and very comprehensive, plus the quality of being built like a Wiki.
PSP: https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/List_of_all_PSP_homebrew
PSVita: https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/List_of_all_Vita_homebrew

Both sites have a lot of unique material that is not found in VitaDB or CBPS, but beyond that, I think it is good to have more sources as alternatives, which serve as mirrors in the event of a crash or catastrophe in the common sources.

Please support, say thanks and spread the work that each of these devs does selflessly for the entire community, only then will the flame remain alive.

Just tried it out and it doesn't even open. I get the error message saying "iTLS-Enso is not running. Ensure that iTLS-Enso is installed properly before running this application."

I'm on Henkaku and used the vita.hacks.guide

Since it's not working I deleted it again

Thank you for sharing this. I didn't even know Better Homebrew Browser even existed

It's a great browser, and it even employs the PSN Store's music!!!

Then look inside ur0:tai/config.txt and look after kernel if you have the itls.skprx line
Then look at ux0:tai/config.txt and if it's not then paste the line in ux0:tai/config.txt
I might do it at the weekend. I'm pretty busy currently 😅
