Seems that it loads, but then the screen constantly marquees upward... looks like im watching an old film thats out of sync... the picture rises out of frame, then comes back in frame from the bottom... really quickly.. just scrolls..

got a couple new games i thought i should let you guys know that works
Taiko no Tatsujin NTSC-J -works
i had trouble when it first loaded i got some weird error (i say weird cause i cant read japanese)
but after ejecting and re-inserting the disc it ran great, haven't had that error since.
no noticeable delay in loading, fast menu's and gameplay was perfect
The King Of Fighters Collection The Orochi Saga NTSC-U - works
again no noticeable delay in loading, played a few rounds in king of fighters 94' and 98' ran smooth and perfect
anyways wasn't sure if anyone confirmed these games but if not, there you go guys =)

hi. alright i am having problems with one particular game and that's Okami. i have the ntsc u region version. i keep looking around and it seems .3 gamma is okami compatible. all my isos have been working fine but with okami i get the game read error screen. not sure what the problem may be. I'll tell you all this, i used WUM 1.2 to make this iso safe. can that be the reason why it won't work??? also how do i check if i have the proper cIOS version (does this also matter???)??? thanks for the help
UPDATE: nvm folks. it was the cIOS version that i had that was causing the problems. back to OKAMI.

Tested today tatsunoko vs capcom [Jp] iso on a Pal Wii with v3.3 V2 fix and Homebrew channel and Gamma loader and worked smoothly

I can vouch for the Memorex DVD+R not being the best for Wii games. I was using them at first doing the same thing (switching the booktype to DVD-R) and I got a few games to work but the rest gave me the "Disk Read Error". I tried a different burner with the same disks and had the same luck. I bought some Verbatim DVD-R to try out and they have all worked right away, first burn. I will add that when I was trying to get CoD:WaW and Shaun White Snowboarding to work the other day I was getting a disk read error. Searching for a solution led me to this thread All-In-One Launcher on GBATEMP.NET which I decided to try out. Whatever pieces are in that pack posted in the above link made even my old crap burns on the Memorex DVD+Rs start working on my Wii. I know that sounds weird but maybe part of that pack has a certain fix I didn't have loaded originally. You might try it out as it didn't seem to hurt anything (only make things better).

crash of the titans and big brain academy wii degree both pal both forced to nbtsc dont work, they run fine in pal mode tho regionfree and wiifrii dont help
It's been proven with the legit copies at least, that you MUST use any region changer for the game to work.
