You can put an hekate payload inside bootloader folder name it update.bin see if boot up Hekate. Even though payload.bin is found on the root of the SD card for fss0 build out there like HATS.

I got a new large MicroSD card today, formatted to Fat32, put the latest hekate v6.0.1 and Atmosphère 1.5.1 on the root as well as patched files in the Atmosphère folder and now I got a new problem:

"Failed to open payload.bin!"

EDIT: This is a Switch Lite with a modchip.

at the root of your SDCard, rename "hekate_ctcaer_6.0.2.bin" to "payload.bin"

Seems to do the trick, mind you, looks like my Switch's battery is flat, I'll update my post tomorrow, cheers.

a chip (M0, HWFLY, SX converted with spacecraft-nx)) is programmed to launch "payload.bin" at the root of the microSD Card, and nothing else.

it can't guess that you want to launch fusee, hekate or any other payload. So, the rule is clear : rename payload.bin ANY payload you want to launch at boot. As simple as easy.

I did a backup of my NAND, I created a File Based emuMMC and now I'm stuck at the hekate_ipl.ini part. I copied the one from here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CTCaer/hekate/master/res/hekate_ipl_template.ini but it's not working. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, I'm in, but I have another issue, I can't connect to Nintendo's network to update and download. I cleared the *.INI file from atmosphere\hosts, but it didn't change anything. So what's up with that?
(Never mind, recalled I had the same issue last year, prodinfo was disabled)

It has to do with Tesla Overlays, you have to figure out which out is outdated and causing the problem.

Is it worth updating only atmosphere? I not on firmware 16.

Not really necessary.

It depends if you like the new functionalities like using the Bluetooth paring database from a file on your SD, so if you use EmuNAND and SysNAND you don't need to sync the pairing database manually, even if you have several consoles you can share your controllers between them.

You must note what you need to update all your homebrew, overlays and sigpatches.
