The secure value is stored inside the save archive, so inside the SAV file.

This is also a very old method since FBI can delete the secure value stored in the system memory for all games.

I see. I just wanted to make sure whether or not I’m doing something wrong here before I dip into homebrew, though if it gets to that point there are a lot of more reliable solutions

Though I wanted to say that I’m sure I did the process right, it the anti save game simply wasn’t updating, although it was creating backup saves since I had it enabled

Where did you get the save? And is it encrypted or decrypted?
Do you have cfw on your system?
Do you have a cartridge of the game or a digital (eShop) version of this game?
