Is there a certain Save Manager I should use?
Yes, but items in their houses are bugged, so you should wait a bit until that's fixed.Could someone give me a tl;dr, is it possible/safe to hack in the new villagers into towns yet (W. Link in particular)?
Gotcha, thanks!Yes, but items in their houses are bugged, so you should wait a bit until that's fixed.
Nope...it says "beta 1" for me.The site's background is back to green and there's no more warning and most of the errors seem to be fixed. But it still says "alpha 4".
Well, a few minutes ago it still did. But it seems like it's out of alpha and there shouldn't be any major problems any more. Everything I have is listed as the right thing. And setting villagers (including the new ones) to default works perfectly.Nope...it says "beta 1" for me.

Sadly its unknown exactly how can we get our save corrupted. Atleast for me, JKSV corrupted my town everytime i edited it.so, i really want to test this tool, but i have made so much progress on my town that i would be horrible if i lost it.
i know if i back up the save, then restore it later, i will get a corrupted save alert.
is there any way i can restore a backup of my animal crossing save without getting the corrupt save alert?

You can dump your save , then open the garden_plus.dat on the editor, dont edit the garden_plus.dat and download it, and then re-inject that one. (and dont use JKSV)
I used to dump saves with save_manager for homebrew launcher, but yesterday after trying to do something with JKSV , save_manager wont inject a save. :'Ii mostly use JKSV for save data edits, so what would be a better save data editor to use? SVDT?
