I think it was a joke. Based on the replies, it looks like he was actually using a Xbox Series X and it's the version on the store. My French is a bit poor though as it's been a while since I've had to read any so might be wrong.

Not a fan of machine translations. I've seen how they can butcher the actual meaning behind certain things. However, that does seem about right, From what I understood of it.

@codemasterv , if you have the license on your system but not the package, they can be downloaded by using the entitlement.db, right? and, licenses are not deleted off the system when you delete a game, similar to the 3ds/wii u?

Yep correct. You can delete the game as many times as you want and is also in a seperate db from the games so you will not lose it unless you format the system

Im trying to finish my gui dlc maker but am stuck on proper formatting of the gp4 for file/folder structure

Green Joy-Con D-Pad Shells for Nintendo Switch

Where I am at now. Its basically the last thing I need to create the full gp4 file.

Im using c# to create the first half that in the log window of my gui but need to append the the proper file/ folder structure.

If I can get that part figured out I can finish this thing.

look in your entitlement.db file. If you downloaded it in the past it will be in there.

Give you an idea what I am doing

Here is my c# parsing the folders into xml format. I cant get c# group files and folders. It lists them as parent and sub

So for modifying an original patch update I
- extract the .pgk with orbis-pub.check.exe
- rename the folder image0 to CUSAXXXX-patch
- move files from Sc0-folder to CUSAXXXXX-patch\sce_sys
- change eboot.elf with the desired one
- delete Sc0-folder
- genereate a gp4 file out of it with geng4_patch.exe
- and finally create my fake patch pkg with orbis-pub-gen.exe and the base 1.00 fpk file?

Welp my ps4 9.00 finally kp'd and killed my brand new external hdd....

I say kp it restarted itself and gave me some Sony error crap

Actually my games still show on my external hdd has being installed but disappeared off my ps4 homescreen. How do i get these back considering i don't have a backup of my dB before it messed up ?

With a brand new one that really extremely sucks. Makes me wonder a bit though, it should survive more than one headcrash.

That's why I am looking into buying SSDs... if only they were not more expensive than what I got the PS4 Pro for

If I remember this thread correctly, eject and unplug the HDD. Launch GoldHEN, plug in the HDD, wait.
It should rescan the drive and add the games to the list.

Yeah, me too I’d like to buy SSDs, but with the shortage of worldwide chips and electronics components, not sure the prices will drop very soon
