Should I save my app.db on the PS4 before I update to 6.72 when it is available for jailbreak ? Mine is on 5.05 and jailbreak since 2 years. And I used Leeful's site.

possibly. it might change when you update. I know mine did on the vita. the worst that could happen is the rebuilding of the database.

I think the one on the vita changed, because they removed one of the apps. on 3.60, the app.db was always the same size (884KBs on the vita; 860KBs on the pstv). they're not interchangeable. now, it's smaller after upgrading, then downgrading by about 200+ KBs. I don't know how. the ps4's constantly increases. right now, with forty or so things installed, mine is around 450KBs I believe.

You don't have to move them. They should be fine. When the 6.72 exploit is released you can just update from 5.05 to 6.72 using an update file on USB like you said.:)

You won't lose anything installed, no worries and you can manually update with the 6.72 update file externally if the time comes and everything is released. When the time comes. Not a 100 percent sure if you can update manually if updates are blocked but if updating doesn't work you probably need to re-enable updates through something like '' exploit host from al azif '' if you're using that or if you're using X-project re-enable updates through there and make sure to disconnect from the internet when updating. After the update is done when the time is ripe, make sure you disable updates again afterwards

I got two 5.05 PS4s shipping to me. I am excited never had a hacked PS4 always was legit.

Is there any chance we don't end up getting the 6.72 exploit?

True but he didn't say he won't be able to work on it, just that he won't be able to stream anymore.

LOL, Its not exactly new support for 6.72. What ever payload sender you currently use will support 6.72.
The only difference with this version is that it now says 6.72 on the GUI.
The reason why It lists different firmwares is that some of the older firmwares used a different port number to send to(which you enter in the GUI). You can select firmware 4.05 and as long as you put in the correct port that you need it will still work on whatever firmware.

Dont get me wrong I am in no way putting this tool down. It is an excellent tool and I have used it myself many many times in the past and it works great.

Hey guys, my PS4 is on 7.02, so it possible that there is no webkit exploit or is it inevitable?
