Yes, there are plans but no rush of any kind.
Hacko still didn't fix the empty text box 100% yet and I didn't have time to do much lately.
My team is still collecting and correcting the errors you guys reported but I believe we are pretty at the end of the line with that because things repeat themself now.

I have the same problem as Dark Anubis, but I can't find the directory in my emulator's folder. The only folders in Version 10 are Battery, Cheats, Roms, and States, and in Version 9.9 they're Cheats, Movies, Saves, and Screenshots.

I appreciate anyone's help with this. I've been trying for countless hours to get this to work and none of the emulators I download or techniques I use seem to work.
 
Sorry for being a complete newb here, but this is my very first time patching a ROM (and my very first time using an emulator, for that matter).

I'm doing this on a Mac. So far, I've downloaded DeSmuME and the Japanese ROM, and that seems to work. For patching the ROM, I downloaded MultiPatch, but now I'm stuck. I downloaded the XDELTA patch and tried to run it through MultiPatch, but it says "Patch Format: Not supported" (I assume because it's a .rar file, which according to the readme MultiPatch doesn't accept). Am I missing a step here? Is there something else I still need to do?

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, I'm new to this...

You have to extract the .rar file and in it is the .xdelta file that is supported by MultiPatch :)

Just move the Battery folder over. Inside the Battery folder there should be a file named "Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (or whatever you named your rom).dsv", and that holds your savedata.
 
Auryn, do you have a bugtracker so we can track already reported issues? This would reduce the number of duplicated reports.
Anyway I encountered a bug in case 1 during the second investigation part (the part where Gumshoe searched a trash can for evidence). After the investigation began, I pressed Y and three text boxes were presented to you. After I finished with the last text box (right after Gumshoe finished talking), the game froze but music was still running. No response on button press. I tried to reproduce it but it didn't happen again, so not sure what triggers the freeze. I used a Cyclo DS.

WiiUBricker: well, we has separate threads on the CR backup forum for each case but naturally because some people are playing the game only now, so there are reports still for the first cases.
Make a list of all typos and bugs would be very time intensive to be pubblished and sorry if i say so, probably nobody will read it anyway as you see from the amount of posts in here that are already answered in the read me in the first page/with the patch.
We have an internat tracking of the modifications taken to each script file but nothing pubblic.
So we have to go like this even if it's a bit "frustrating" to see reports of old things.

Thanks for the report of that glitch but it seems you are the only one who had that so i believe it was a casual glitch.
 
To everyone involved in the translation, thank you for bringing us this long-awaited game. I've been following this project from the beginning, and I can't be happier that its finally been completed. Good job everyone!
 
Someone from the Netherlands (me) would like to thank you too. (a bit late in the 'game' , but better late than never)
After DD came out, I remembered that I never got to play this game.
I am a translator for television, and fan made translations are not something I would usually search for.
But this translation is more than impressive, and now I can play the only AA game that was left to play.
(I love this series, have for years)

My deepest respect. It's so good that Capcom should actually buy your translation and use it to localize the game.
Won't happen, but it would be deserved.

I'm using the save provided for case 4, but there's one issue that I'm having that I can't figure out. All of the evidence that you can 'check' turns out with a black screen. Like for instance, when I hit 'check' for Kay's letter, it just shows up with a black screen. Everything else is fine, but I can't get past the cross examinations since I have no idea what half the evidence says. Anyone else have this problem, or know what to do about it?

Ya'll did such an awesome job on the translation that no amount of thanks or gratitude would ever be enough. The game was superb, and I'm so glad I got to experience it because of your hard work. You all deserve to have your work bought by Capcom and make tons of money. I don't speak Japanese at all so I can't say how "good" the translation was, but I never would have known this wasn't a 100% quality product exceeding even that of what Capcom has done in the past AA games.

You have brought something magical and memorable to the English speaking world and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. My life is richer having played this game.

I didn't care much for AI1 when I played it (even though I'm a huge fan of the series as a whole), and wasn't too upset when I found out AI2 wasn't coming to the states. But after seeing all the great comments from people who could read Japanese and played the game, or watched Dowolf's translation, I gave it a try, and it was so worth it. One of the best games in the whole franchise, and that's all thanks to your wonderful translation.

So, thank you very much for everyone's hard work. Thanks to the voice actors, to the artists, to the translaters, the inserters, the managers, and everyone else. What a wonderful addition to the world of gaming you all have made.

Currently almost done with case 5...I've played every Ace Attorney game, but this is the best. Thank you so so much for translating it, and shame on Capcom for never officially releasing it.

But as someone asked earlier, any chance we can get the voice files for the objections for use in Ace Attorney Online? I'd especially like Courtney's and Blaise's.

Also, whoever voiced the objection for "The Man Who Masterminds the Game" nailed it. It fits him perfectly.
