Ah. I think somewhere on the forums someone mentioned using a DNS to essentially block the URLs.My dad changed The logins of our router
I have a dynamic ip :/Ah. I think somewhere on the forums someone mentioned using a DNS to essentially block the URLs.
just use the tubehax dns that also blocks the update URL's and your ip shouldn't matterI have a dynamic ip :/
I do believe there's a PC based client that can be used to automatically update your IP for OpenDNS and a few other services.I have a dynamic ip :/
Ok i Will see!only your router is passworded ?
If you can access WiiU settings, why not use proxy solution ?
instead of using OpenDNS to do the filtering, your computer is doing it !
I prefer using that solution over online service, that way I can enable/disable/edit rules quickly and even while playing. for example, block system update, but allow game update.
you can even see the accessed URL in realtime and determine if you should block or allow internet access.
Nintendo could change them, BUT there is no way for the Wii U to know that they were changed without an update of the software so it knows to look at the new hostname. Is there a way to kick off the WiiU from my network automatically after 3-5mins? I just need connected to load wiiubru, and want it to disconnect after that.
I don't trust blocking these URL's since Nintendo could always change them at some point, and BAM your WiiU is updated.
I believe there's a pretty extreme way to stop updates, by deleting vWii ios's?There is a homebrew or kernel app that can block wii u update forever ?
If not..there is a chance to get that?
But if in the future you want to update/downgrade whatever maybe (Probably) you won't be able to do it.I believe there's a pretty extreme way to stop updates, by deleting vWii ios's?
