I love how there are people here getting so butthurt over this. It's not like they stole the systems or it's even their fault that they got them early. Blame whoever shipped them their pre-orders early.

not a SINGLE game has been released yet and you guys have nothing better to do than talk about piracy in every thread just to safe your 60$ per game. Glue doesn't help for water resistant. You just get more space, because you don't need the screws.
Also if someone open the hardware, the factory can identify it better in most cases. [warranty]
I'm honestly not sure how it works, but when they seal a water resistant phone at the factory, whatever process they use, does actually seal it pretty damn well against water damage. But the minute you open up the case, that initial seal is broken and it will never be restored. I repair cellphones as part of my job to give you some perspective. As for the warranty thing, yeah, definitely, once its open the manufacturer will be able to tell, I agree with you on that.

Trust me, no matter how much we talk about it, I can pretty much garuntee none of us here on this thread will actually do it. I should also mention the 3ds itself took around 2 years to be hacked (gateway) anyway.
Hackers actually think about this too, and always wait just a bit longer before they decide to release anything piracy-related.
