"gaems"? In Window title. Also maybe capitalize gaems (and fix it), change loader to downloader and add NUS. So it becomes Wii U NUS Game Downloader.
But hey, its your title.

hoping this works without .net because I couldn't get the other one to work. And I hate installing libraries or other stuff that is just going to add to background processes or make my system less secure.

Edit, figured out 1 issue. If it rejects your ticket, in the ticket folder you can make a folder with the game name, then make a folder that is "U [title ID]" then put the ticket in there. title id without brackets.

Cool! This seems to be working better than JNUSTool-mod. Also, it has gaems!

Suggested features:
- automatic adding of the correct ticket
- automatic naming of folders (for example: TITLE [GAMEID], infos could be taken from gametdb.com)
- integrity check of the downloaded files (could be decrypted to RAM with the ticket)

-you can add ticket to ticket folder in the same way.
-as i know, if you want to install this game to the wiiu hdd or sys memory this folder SHOULD be named as "install"
-i cant because idk what i can check

- Good to know, thanks!
- With this installer you can use any name (and also batch install games): https://gbatemp.net/threads/wupinstaller-y-mod-with-mulitple-install-folders.445907/
- Well, you could verify if the files are complete and if they can be extracted (with the ticket).

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
