EDIT: So what I'm reading from the blog is that this will indeed function like a regular GBA SP too. It will play official cartridges if you want to. But when you pop in the supplied K-Card is when the device acts like a standard flash cart. Meaning it will play 1:1 backups, emulators, and homebrew.

yup that's right. it functions just as a normal gba, and the k-card works as it's own proprietary flash cart.

i've used zarmark before, they're a very friendly bunch and reliable. there are other agents around too i believe, but i've not used any others.

Awesome, I can't waitwhat is the direct contact information for the guys behind the gb sp and gba project? also what are both systems called? and i read about a flash kit for the system that adds compatibility, what is that called?
