Does 90DNS still work for North America:

primary 207.246.121.77 and secondary 163.172.141.219?

I just bought a hackable switch waiting on it to come and was looking up methods to block DNS so I can use online mode to update retroarch and use homebrew.

Does 90 DNS still work in North America: primary DNS to "207.246.121.77", and secondary DNS to "163.172.141.219".? Just preparing methods to hack my switch that I bought which is hackable. I would like to be able to connect to the internet to update retroarch and use homebrew.

What's the correct confiuration for 90dns?

primary DNS: 163.172.141.219
secondary DNS: 207.246.121.77

primary DNS: 163.172.141.219
secondary DNS: 45.248.48.62

I need to configure my Switch internet connection in Italy.

If you live anywhere else: Set primary DNS to "163.172.141.219", and secondary DNS to "207.246.121.77".

hi. does anybody have the same issue as me, where I always get Could not perform DNS name resolution when using 90DNS? anybody have an idea on what to do? I tried using 2 different network/ISP, and I still get this error :(

I tried the DNS server on my PC and I still can connect to the internet. but it never works on my Switch.

thanks

update:

Hi. just to answer myself. the 90DNS is actually working fine. what causing the issue was because I was trying to use switch lan play, but I stumble on some problem during the lan play setup. now it works fine (I found an answer where to setup LAN Play GUI, you shouldn't have any white space in the directory structure).

I noticed something even under Stock sysNAND. If I connect online normally, it gets through ok. But, if I connect with 90DNS settings, not only does it say that it fails in getting an internet connection when testing, but when I try going back to my normal connection afterwards, that too fails in getting an internet connection. Only way for me to reset this is by restarting the system.

I have tried this out with Primary DNS set to 163.172.141.219 and Secondary DNS set to 207.246.121.077 (I am in Europe) and got the error code 2811-1007, so I thought it works.
Now my switch suddenly shows "a console update is available" (10.0.2) which I do not want to install now.
How can this happen??

Hi, I am getting this when using 90dns tester (2/6 tests succeeded, not safe to use 90dns on this network) on my PC, and i getting a normal responses when tried to ping example.nintendo.com. However when i visiting 90dns.test on my PC, it show me successfully connected to 90dns and happy hijacking and on my switch, the 90dns tester homebrew shows me all nintendo network have blocked. So, I would like to know is it safe to use 90dns ?

Sorry for being shortsighted on this. But can we trade Pokemon online in Sword/Shield with this configuration in mind?

I'm kind of on the fence in the idea knowing that 90DNS blocks all connections with any of Nintendo's servers, but at the same time, a part of me thinks that it might be possible. The, again, I'm shortsighted with the technicalities.

Why would you use these DNS-servers on your computer? The results look good, 127.0.0.1 is always your local computer, the other success is not a Nin-address.

Pokemon / Niantic is almost Nin'do so it is highly unlikely that it works.

This is great! Amazing job!

Bumping this thread, also unable to connect to network with "DNS not resolving" as the error
If you're having issues with 90DNS, you can use Atmosphere's Incognito function instead, which doesn't rely on a custom DNS.

Any word if 90dns is working? I used the test app and it all came back red :/ Also jack returned a forbidden error :D prolly shouldn't send those packets thru their server maybe?
