Hacking 8gb Micro SD not working

Today I turned on my DS and left it for about an hour. When I picked it up to start playing it, YuGiOh 5D's Stardust Accelerator was loadig, but was obviously frozen. I turned my DS off, and upon turning back on, it would just say loading, or go two 2 white screens with a loading thing in the bottom right of the touch screen (this is a DSTT). Whenever I try to hook it up to the computer, it says it needs to be formatted. Seeing as my files were backed up 2 days ago, I'm fine with this and proceeded to format. At the end of the format, Windows prompts me saying "Windows was unable to complete format."

Try formatting it again. You might need to replace it. How long have you had it?
