*Hopes for a D/P/Pt remake*

And just like that, my hope was crushed.....as expected.

It was obvious Gen IV wouldn't get remakes until the Switch generation. These games are still playable on the 3DS, there is no reason to remake them. Gen VIII (since they clearly don't want to split Gen VII across the consoles) is quite likely to feature Whatever Diamond and Something Pearl in the future. Besides, we waited many long years for Hoenn, we can be patient about Sinnoh.
