Took about a minute with my desktop's crappy internet. I'll give it a try after I finish installing Snow Leopard on my XPS M1530. I only have one USB cable, and that's the one that my external HD is using (The installer is mounted on it

Unless your memory stick/nand are faulty, the chance of something goes wrong is almost 0.
