The Nintendo 3DS folder contains your installed games. Nothing bad will happen if you lose it except that you'll lose your installed games and save files (if you didn't back them up with JKSM).Hi @ all,
i updated successfully to B9S 1.2, but didn´t use CTRNand option. So obviously my N3DS will not boot without an sd card, or without the boot.firm file on the root of the sd. So in case of an sd card failure, i want to make a full backup of my sd card. But as there are many cia´s installed it is way too big.
So which folder do i not need to copy to my pc harddisk ? I mean which folder contains all installed games ?
Would that be ok as a backup to not have the folder with the installed games included ?
The 3DS should still boot right ? What can happen if the games folder is missing ? Should only have the effect of not showing the games in the home menu right ?
Thanks, cheers
You only need boot.firm on the root of your SD card to boot it, and you can redownload this any time so you don't need to keep it backed up.
