Hi, i'm at Section II - Installing arm9loaderhax, i tried doing the step ''go to dukes arm11 thing'' but there was a black screen (glitch i think), i turned the 3ds off, and when i turned it back on the screen became ''Luma3ds v6.3.1'', but when i remove the sd the 3ds won't come on, what do i need to do?

Dont know if its the same problem, he recomends following Plailect guide which is the exact guide i followed. inside his luma folder he has some file called "frimware.bin" which i dont haven and cant find it in the luma file i downloaded from that guide's page.

I'll keep looking see what can i do

Hello guys, i have a 3DS v 11.0. I want to install arm9, FBI, update to 11.1, etc.

Would it be better if i sell my 3DS and buy a new one lower than 11.0, and do the hacking? What would i need with a 3DS in 10.7 or lower to do all this? Any game like cubic?

To downgrade your 11.0 3DS you would need a second console anyway. If you get one on 10.7 you can follow https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki. Have a read before you get your console (I think you will need to apply TubeHax DNS before connecting to the vet for the first time if you want to use free hax).

Will you lose the browser when you do a Cart Update or do you still have the same version of the browser?

Example: 4.5-8 > 9.2-8. or 4.5-8 > 9.2-0

Example 2: 4.5-8 > 9.0-8 or 4.5-8 > 9.0-0

You won't lose the browser as long as it's an update below 9.9.

Some cards works. If your card has the 3DS listed in the label, then it should work.

That's the problem, i followed the guide on github (the one he recomended) which includes erasing unnecesary files, i checked and i actually have my luma folder the way he describes it to be, i even went over to the parts on the guide that explain what files to erase and nothing, i'm convinced that the path.txt is the way to solve this but i cant get it to work.

digital games don't require any kind of "private header", i.e. you can just play them online normally regardless of how you got them

The only thing really close is using ntr cfw to drop the brightness down to 1 (out of 100, so below what home menu normally lets you go) and using power save mode.

I have a N3ds 11.1.0-34U with LumaCFW, if there's another update (let it be 11.1.0-35U for example) how should I update the console (I mean, if there's a special way to update the console with Luma or something)? or I should not update it?

Is there a thread or guide for LumaCFW? I mean, something like "how to take care of your N3ds with Luma" 'cause I don't wanna brick my console or lose everything I have installed on it.

you just update it as if your 3ds were completely normal and not on CFW. use system settings, choose update. updating luma is something different, you can used the installed cia to do that. even if you did somehow brick your 3ds you have hourglass9 and the BACKUPS you made to restore.

edit:my question was burried, can you create a cia of a gba or gbc color game on the 3ds (to be injected into the vc)?

any particular reason why you want to do it yourself? You can find cias to download of nearly any GBA or GBC game imaginable.

RedNAND 11.1.0-34 EU
SysNAND 9.2.0-20 EU

I don’t have menuhax installed, so I can’t boot directly with “L” Button into boot.3dsx homebrew launcher. On RedNAND 11.1.0-34 i can’t start browserhax, which was my entrypoint all the time. Now I’m stuck on a RedNAND Luma3DS and don’t know how to start a program :-P

Please give me some input on how to do the last steps to be free ^^
