Hacking 3DS crashes after returning from miiverse, friends list, scanning ar codes, etc.

I recently followed Plailect's guide on region changing and successfully changed my region from 11.2.0-35E to 11.2.0-35U. However, after doing this, everytime I left the friends list, scanning ar codes, etc., my 3ds would crash. I also changed it to 11.2.0-35J and that would still crash it. I even downgraded to 9.2.0-XXJ and it still crashed.
Is there a fix?

Edit: forgot, My original region was Sys. 11.2.0-35E with luma and a9lh

I see many people with region changed emunands but, this problem I've not seen asked so I'm glad I'm not the only one

There aren't too many reasons to region change these days, even less to change between two English speaking regions.

It seems you two are giving yourselves a headache for no good reason.
