Hi, I need your help, I have a 3DS that is somewhat bricked like a semi-brick of the Wii, where you can't access the config channel.
I bought a broken 3DS it had the upper LCD and the flex that controls the 3D bad, I fixed it, bought both in china via deal extreme, in the time it was shipped I thought that I could test the bad 3DS with the parts of my other 3DS, wich is good and working nice now, the console booted up and I was happy with that, so I diasembled it and assembled every console with its own parts.
Yesterday I recieved the fix parts for the broken 3DS via DHL, I installed them without problem, the 3DS booted up, it was all ok, but when I tried to boot a game it said ''an error has occured, please....'' the black screen, so I turned it off and on, cleaned the pins of the game and tried again... Nothing, tried another game, the same result, so I decided to go to options and format the 3DS, but for my surprise, when I opened the options in 3DS it throwed mr the same error as the games, so I couldn't acces it, and format the console.
I thought ''meh, this has to resolve if I update the console'' tried the combination of buttons, booted into update mode, and (this is important) UPDATED WITHOUT ASKING ME FOR AN INTERNET CONNECTION, at first I thougt that the update was already downloades via spotpass, but I asked the owner when the 3DS was last booted, he said July of last year. Weird
Well anyway ,the 3DS should be working because of the update... no. the same problem, so I thought that the update wasnt real at all, if it does not ask me for a internet connection, it means that the 3DS never connected to thei nternet and never downloaded anything, because that 3DS was never in my house so it was impossible to know my password. I tried to unable the passowrd of my router and update again. Booted into update mode, and asked me for an internet connection, I thought ''I've made it, this time it will work'', the 3DS said ''do you want to configure an internet connection?'' choosed yes, aaaaaand, this was even WEIRDER, the 3DS, this broken 3DS that was never in my house had the same 3 network connections as my working 3DS, THE SAME, with passowrds and everything. tried to update and said ''the 3ds is already updated'' turned off the 3DS and sleep...
Today I tried opening some apps of the 3DS, turns out that it open some thing, and it even streetpass with my other 3DS, this is the list of the things that work:
Camera (with L or R in main menu)
Camera APP
Mii Editor
Mii Plaza
Notifications
Nintendo Zone
all the rest don't work. From what I can understand, by some way, the configuration of my other 3DS was transfered to this 3DS and maybe corrupted the config, so I cant open apps that read the config of the console, maybe formatting is an option to fix it, but I can't open the config to format it. Any clue? Help? Some combination of buttons like the update combination, but for formatting?
I browsed every site I know of, googled lot of hours, but nothing of this nature.
