No, Z Hunter, it's based on the same engine, but it's also based on the second series of Gundam Seed.

BTW, I still don't know why the hell they release soooo many GS games :/ Yes, I liked GS:BA and others, but this is getting even worse than the pokemon franchise!

Actually...if I recall, Japan is getting this version instead of the Engilsh SEED Battle Assault, which is excatly why it plays like SEED:BA, only that Bandai decided to add Destiny stuff into this...other than that, it's really just a remade version that was in Engilsh only with Destiny stuff.

Because their speical? To be fair, we did get Battle Assualt (The orginal one) with Wing Gundam...and number 2 in Japan was spilt into a bunch of games if I can recall...so it balances it out...

Also, upon playing a bit of this game, there seems to be an option to let you play SEED: Battle Assualt...only that it's oddly not translated into Japanese (Good for us but...it is supposed to be for Japan so...it just makes me feel that Bandai was lazy.)

graphicaly, it reminds me of the Jap. Gundam Wing: Endless Battle (something like that) game for SNES... Used to have a rom for it, was a fun game...
