Hello all,

So I downgraded successfully from 10.7 > 9.2 via Cubic Ninja.
I followed this guide on setting up Emunand: Here
I completed that, did everything right... the system still prompts me to update before adding friends etc.
I play Animal Crossing New Leaf and when I make trades with people online I need to access friends list in order to add new friends to trade with.

Can someone help me on what I need to do? I followed that tutorial in depth and everything and I had no errors. I don't no what I am doing wrong...

You can ask me if I did certain things to make sure I did and I will confirm.

I would really appreciate your input and help as well!

Well, do you have emuNAND?
What CFW do you use?

Someone linked that to me on yellow8 /: and not to sure I did what ever it said to do on that page. Maybe I can start again ; I downloaded emunand yes cfw not to sure, whatever it told me to download on that page is what I did

Are you using emuNAND to add friends and what CFW are you using i.e rxtools, reinand, aureinand etc to help understand your situation better

Oh wait... i think thats why. i skipped that part on that tutorial where it says "Installing menuhax, cfw, and ctrbootmanger" D: .....

Does that mean I have to start from the beginning? Or can i just pick up from that part of the tutorial ?

You can pick up from that part you are trying to play games on 9.2 sysnand it seems hence why you are getting the update nag.

Oh downloading CFW was just the next step.. so no i did not do that. I guess ill do that part now.. i got up to :

"

Find the folder that does not have the \dbs folder inside (this is the folder for your SysNAND as you just formatted it), and repeat the steps with import.db and title.db as described above.
- The other folder should already have the \dbs folder, because you restored your backup to the microSD already.

Now that EmuNAND is set up correctly, software installation can begin."

Ok im stuck on this part
"

Extract the ReiNand package onto the root of your microSD.
Now start your N3DS and repeat the dbs repair that was described in step 2 by going intoSystem Settings, data management, Nintendo 3DS and repairing the database.
- This is needed to be done again because you formatted your SysNAND."

It's saying theirs not data on sd card.

Lol now when i try and downgrade via cubic ninja it does not work it stuck as soon as i press Y to downgrade

UPDATE: Whatever I did got me to get firmware RX-E 9.2.0-20U

I try adding friends, still asks me to update

Well yeah if you are in RX-E that means you are in emuNAND which is safe to update sorry for the late reply got a little busy, after updating the nag will go away and remember only update if it says RX-E before the firmware version to make sure you are in emuNAND.

I go into update and it says it can not update and that the system will retstart

I think i need the updater pack from iso so which one do i use
THere are two options:

Update the emuNAND --> DevMenu, by pressing L+R+A to install all .cias of the folder (or with sysUpdater)
Update the sysNAND --> sysUpdater (only works with rxTools' devmode, Pasta without firmlaunch and PBT CFW or it will result in a brick)

Now I cant get into the homebrewer launcher at all i did "update emunand" onnto sd.

keep trying it crashes a lot and only update the emuNAND, wait what? Why are you trying to install a update file like that? Just go to system settings make sure it says RX-E before the firmware then update from there, and make sure your internet settings are configured properly
