Hello all,

So I downgraded successfully from 10.7 > 9.2 via Cubic Ninja.
I followed this guide on setting up Emunand: Here
I completed that, did everything right... the system still prompts me to update before adding friends etc.
I play Animal Crossing New Leaf and when I make trades with people online I need to access friends list in order to add new friends to trade with.

Can someone help me on what I need to do? I followed that tutorial in depth and everything and I had no errors. I don't no what I am doing wrong...

You can ask me if I did certain things to make sure I did and I will confirm.

I would really appreciate your input and help as well!

I think I am just going to start from the beginning .. delete all the files i downloaded and start from the beginning. Is there a link you can link me to with a current tutorial and step by step of trying to do this?

It seems you were trying to install the latest update through the guide's updating method which is completely fine, all you have to do is get the updates folder on the root of your sd card and install the sysupdater.cia, as mentioned in the guide its not really necassary to backup emuNAND in your case because I guess you didn't install many titles? If you still want to back it up then just reset the browser settings, and then try to load up broswerhax as this always fixes browserhax and cubic ninjahax will not work as the payload on cubic ninjahax is for 10.7 because you used it to downgrade from 10.7 to 9.2 you can change it to work on 9.2 but you will lose the ability to use it on the latest firmware which I would advise you not to do because there are many different entry points for HBL on 9.2, after installing sysupdater.cia just open it on emuNAND and update it just like you used it to downgrade should be simple as that.

Wow, i had it at RX-E 10.7 then i dont no what happened... it went away when i clicked something..

Okay wait i got it... i got it... so now... when i want to launch RX-E 10.7.. I have to go launch rxtools click it and then it brings me back to the main menu .. my friends are online n everything wow i think i did it!

Glad you got it to work lol, tbh you should stay away from rxtools if you ever wish to use arm9loaderhax in the future (for future proofing your 3ds) and if you are using a new 3ds then you should specially try to use other cfw like reinand or AuReinand which are much better in your case if you have a new 3ds.

The main thing I wanted this for was to be able to still add friends and have internet while playing animal crossing new leaf with friends: I use NewLeafTools which is ability to hack animal crossing & your game

No you can shut down your 3ds or if you want to launch straight into emuNAND follow the guide's coldboot section which will launch you straight to RX-E firmware.

Oh thats fine, I am talking about the guide you linked in your question, follow that for coldboot so that you don't have to launch homebrew launcher all the time to get into rxtools which can be a nuisance and if you are using browserhax to launch it, then it will always require internet access aswell, so coldboot is pretty good as for reinand and AuReinand those are easy to install you can find helpful guides on gbatemp for them.
