It's an exclusive if it's only for the Quest platform. You can't play those games on pc using revive. That being said though, there's no doubt in my mind that it'll end up on pc eventually anyways.

I'm so glad this isn't another Re7vr situation. I played through it through psvr at launch and enjoyed it but the psvr platform and it essentially just being an fps game forced into vr really held it back alot. I hated that they never released the vr mode on pc. The fact that it's on the quest platform just gives me so much faith that'll be much better than re7vr. I honestly thought when I read the title that it was gonna be another psvr exclusive and my hopes were let down till I read the article.

Have any specific examples? I'm pretty sure the files are obtainable, by now somebody must have figured out a workaround for banned Facebook accounts.

Well all I know is that the quest runs on android and the games require the quest's hardware to run. I think the only way to play quest games on a pc would be through some type of android emulator and I don't think it's possible yet. I don't really know any specifics though.

Kinda messed up it's not coming to PCVR though. Quest exclusive seems so dirty when VR is clamouring for new full length games.

If it's exclusive to the Quest then no there won't be I'm afraid. We can use Revive to play games from Oculus' PC store, but not Quest games. Given it's Android based hopefully there will be emulators in the future but who knows how long it will be before they even start to show up.

I don't know why Capcom seems to hate PC players so much. Hopefully we'll eventually see a port of both 7 and 4 in the not too distant future.

Wonder why ppl watch old resident evil games on the switch, while in a fan of the franchise, since I played them before I won't play them again on the switch and if I wanna play them I'll do so in PC.

Oh yeah and I know from firsthand experience that Quest games are just .apk files like any other android app. It's super easy to sideload quest games and other android apk files on to the device. Like I said, the problem is being able to actually run quest apps on a pc. I'm sure it's possible

Meh. I'll take a vr port of any game over another re-release. I've replayed games in vr that weren't originally made for vr and they always feel like new experiences to me. That's just me though

You mean resident evil revelations 3 rumored to be a timed switch exclusive.

I think if the title is true, which could be, if it is using the re engine then its not likely, only resident evil games that came to the switch are ports off the past consoles.

No new re title since then using re engine has come to the switch.

Maybe wait for nintendo to decide if it opts in for nvidias new chip to make the rumor of 4k true or do they find an alternative supplier to offer same or subpar chips.

Id be interested in re4 on psvr, but then again, how many times does this game need re releasing, yes vr sounds good, but would be better if it was a more recent title like 6, or even change re hd and 0 as you never got to experience them in a full 3d environment, rail gun wii didnt count as it did all the moving and it wasnt the same game, more of a house of the dead game.

Id like to see how the timed events work in vr like the boulder dash, hard when you could see the buttons nevermind having a brick over your eyes.

House of the dead remake looks decent but not sure how the switch will do the arcade light gun control..... especially on switch lite consoles.
