i want to ask, is this mod could add inari costumes? like for male then inari male, and for female then inari female? and also adding stephanie and woofio costumes because v1.1 patch didn't had it so i guess i can only hope for those modders to make 2 more empty slots on clothes for that and make it come true...

hello! i actually made an account because im feeling very lost. i cant open makerom and ctrtool in trying to rebuild from scratch. i dont know that iso site and from my search, it's down. the only progress i made was using decrypt. im just that dumb and need some bit of more guide, im sorry to ask of this.

i really want to play the patch, it looks really neat.

EDIT: alright, so im an idiot that i didnt noticed cmd even tho ive read the instructions how many times, but now im stuck with -t romfs, could not open input file.

EDIT TO THE EDITE: after 2hrs of idiocy, i have now made it worked! hurrah!

sure! get your copy of trio of town 1.1 file and download the files under the building cia instructions; i use batch cia decrypt and the 3 files on number 3.

make a folder and drag all the files on it along with your ToT 1.1 copy and SoSToT update file from the patch files, they have to be on the same folder. on your start button, search cmd (command prompt), right click and click on "open file location", do it again so it leads you to system folder. copy that file and paste it on the same folder with your files. after your decrypt it, follow the rest of the instructions written by the developer.

if you're having any problems, feel free to ask. my bad if it's still confusing, im not that good at explaining. im usually bad at it.

thank you! this helped me out a lot but im still a bit stuck, when doing step 10 in building the cia i keep running into this error:
[CIA ERROR] Content 0 Is Corrupt (res = -10)
[RESULT] Failed to build CIA

not sure what im doing wrong, im very new to this

283423947hf's post on page 38 fixed it.

the very last one: "makerom -f cia -target t -content tle_update.cxi:0:0 -o tle_update.cia -minor 2 -ignoresign"

added the -ignoresign on the very last command.

"Hamtaro Compatibility Patch" to your romfs folder and overwrite.
**If you haven't already also take the files from the restoration patch and move them into your romfs folder and overwrite.
8. If you want to use one of the optional patches, read the "README.txt" in your romfs folder and follow its instructions for whichever patch you want
9. Open Romfs Builder, choose your romfs folder, and rebuild your romfs naming it "romfs.bin"
10. Open your terminal again and enter these commands one by one:

12. Install your TLE CIA into your 3ds with FBI or if you're using Citra navigate to File -> Install CIA and install your CIA (You'll have to get the base game on your own)

If your cia file is called totupdate.cia then when using Powershell you would type .\ctrtool --contents=contents totupdate.cia
Also, my biggest contents file was named contents.0000.00000002 so it probably will be for you too.

I have a slight issue. Powershell says those commands are not correct no matter what I do.

Hello! Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm having trouble building the CIA. I'm at step 5 but I'm not sure what to put for "name of biggest content file". If anyone could enlighten me as to what this means that would be great. Thank you!

Is there anything I'm missing?

I've been trying to install the mod through the CIA method without any success, however I was able to get the xDelta Patch to work only to find out the download doesn't include an xDelta version of the Hamtaro Compatibility Patch despite Step 4 saying it should exist.
Could someone please tell me where I can find an xDelta version of the Hamtaro Compatibility Patch, or at least tell me how to make it myself?

I think I need some help with rebuilding the CIA, I've been following the instructions of both the developer and 283423947hf's post above and was able create the CIA with the tle update but when I install the CIA, the game only updates to version 1.1, none of the tle features are there. I think I might be doing something wrong but I'm not sure what really since I'm completely new to this. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me!

So, if I'm looking at these instructions and am almost totally lost, is it probably not worth it for me to try setting this up? I'm bi and would really love the option to date/marry regardless of gender, because I don't know which character I'll end up liking best once I start playing. But I also don't necessarily want to sink hours upon hours into trying to get this to work, since I'm really starting from scratch and have never done any 3DS hacking before. Just trying to judge whether this is something I'll be able to figure out or if I should just accept the game as-is given I'm a total newbie to this.
