So once you install a wad (game) via a wad manager, can you transfer it to the sd card to save space on your console? This is on vwii by the way.
Will wimmfi patched games work correctly if I transfer them to the sd card?Number One- If it is for the vWii then this question belongs on the Wii U forums.
Number Two- Yes, you need to patch the IOS80, there is a patcher for that you can get right here. Keep in mind that if your Wii U suddenly turns off when you are patching the IOS80 (such as a power outage, for example) your vWii WILL BRICK. Thankfully the process is pretty fast so you should be fine.
But I've already downloaded those games? Would transferring do something bad? I don't have emunand stuff set up anyways.not really worth it and risk bricking the vwii. you can just use emunand and a neek.
Oh. But I don't have a big enough usb anyways. All I want to know is, if transferring wad installed games to the sd card is safe.it's very simple with usb loader gx. setting up emunand and wads is in the features section iirc.
Isn't that the one where your device can't be detected? Its used so the format screen doesn't come up all the time right?it's safe, plus you can put neek on the sd card if you want. it's called sneek then.
Oh I was thinking about the thing that hides your usbs. Its used to avoid the constant usb format message upon booting the wii u, sorry for the confusion there.I don't know what you mean. it's an emulated nand.
yup thats what I meant I got it confused due to the names both having steathly-like namesthat's ustealth.
What does copy to the internal nand mean? Is it the immovable save data?Yes, it's totally safe . I have many channels in my SD and without any problem . However, each time you launch a channel, it will copy to the internal nand.

I have two questions. 1. What happens if your wii doesn't have enough space and 2. which games won't work?Basically, every time you load a channel or game off your sd card, it will copy the whole game temporarily to the wii's internal memory, or NAND. This is because of the slow speeds of the SD Card slot. One thing to note with the SD menu is that a few games just wont work, no matter what you do. Also, if it interests you, i made a tutorial on how you can install wads directly to your SD Card without sneek (which i am having trouble setting up) here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...ly-to-your-sd-card-without-an-emunand.568645/
You will simply see a message saying that there is not enough space and all the games work by SD, just install them and have the latest version of Wii, this way they all work.I have two questions. 1. What happens if your wii doesn't have enough space and 2. which games won't work?
