The general rule is: If a console is on it's FIRST firmware released on it and has never upgraded, NEVER upgrade it under any circumstances. These will be worth a bunch in the future.

that's what I thought about my second jtag and my 5.3.2 wii u. it may be worth a lot now, but that's likely to change based solely on experience. a jtag used to be over $400. now, I could probably get $70-$100.
