Last time I honestly really hated the Temper Tantrum. This time, while I don't really like the style by preference, I at least get it and find it kinda funny.
In fact I notice it's by someone different this time. I hope I didn't scare Sushiru_River away :P

By no means - River is hard at work making part 2 of the previous comic which will shed more light on where we're going with the narrative segment. Sadly, there's only so much we can fit in a handful of panels, so initial confusion was inevitable. We're confident that you guys will love what we have in store for you - we're not planning to get rid of comedy segments, far from it, but larger stories require some initial setup. Think of it this way - now you know that there isn't always a gag in those, sometimes the strip is about something else. :)

That doesn't actually work in the games.

Heck, I know birdbrain is an expression but the birds literally saw her do it and she wasn't even disguised when she did it.

And no, birds are not colorblind.
