But yeah: it's a conspiracy, indeed. The internet is really controlled by women, who make sure that all the attention toward sexuality goes towards the depiction of women, so nobody (until now) really noticed that women can just get their hornies on half- and completely naked men without any issue.

EDIT: oh, damnit. I don't think I can ever play Sonic again without thinking the following...

Exactly WHERE does Sonic keeps those rings he collects when he's (nearly) naked?

And how do I get that mental image out of my head? :wacko:

@Taleweaver - Hammerspace. Ask yourself where most FPS characters store their weapons or carry any substantial ammo, especially the ones that aim to be realistic, and it gets a lot worse.

Being a little more serious, I think canon is the rings are absorbed into his body which is precisely why not only they can protect him but when he absorbs the chaos emeralds he can then absorb the rings as fuel. In context to that, the actual volume of each ring is presumably very small and may be some sort of bound energy.

Having said all that, why should 100 rings (or coins in SMB) buy lives? I mean, do they have a personal relationship with Death? It'd seem that's a somewhat more disturbing thing to think about than where exactly Sonic stores his rings.
