I thought everyone knew by now that Gary works for TX.
LMAO.

GaryOPA = Gary Bowser

They were flipping their heads over a different dude: https://gbatemp.net/threads/who-is-soulofgazza-davidshifflet-garyedmunds.507411/

Or uh, Gary Edmunds, but that could just be a typo when registering. Not too sure about that, but given their similarity in names, that it's the same person would not suprise me.

Seems he got in hot water with them by trolling TX product resellers by complaining about their PayPal accounts to PayPal lol.

Curious to see where this leads, I've got my popcorn in hand and ready. It's certainly not looking great for them if the evidence is to be believed.
It's just so strange. They claim server upgrade but to ICANN rules they are either seized or non-paid for. So it's really hard to figure out what really have happened.

Just to bring that (meanwhile deleted) post into context:

Gary Edmunds friggin hates TX and goes to all lengths to unsettle TX users and the community.
DO NOT TAKE THIS STATEMENT SERIOUSLY
You mean he has been filing complaints to PayPal about TX resellers.

That's a perfectly reasonable thing to do, TX is against their terms of services as far as I'm aware.

Given that all their domains are suspended, including the Stargate domain which is less than a year old, I would say that they got arrested. I can say this since uh... domains are usually bought for a full year, and you have to renew them every year (or buy a couple years in bulk, which is usually cheaper). That rules out the non-paid for part, leaving only the possibility of them being seized.

but according to a user earlier in the post. If they forget to pay for one, some providers will seize all of them if they use the same provider. In this case they do.

Pretty sure that's not the case. If you forget to pay for one, the registrar usually just parks the domain for 3 months, after which it's given free for anyone to register again under any registrar.

Hello,
They are able to crack any console but not to renew a domain name or change of server without a service interruption?

EDIT : The domain name was created in 2002... I think that in 17 years, we have time to understand how it works.

Coming from a web background, they are either incredibly incompetent or this is a seizure. Yea.. Something like this would never happen under regular circumstances. Outside of legal issues I don't really see any other way for this to happen.

Ignoring everything else, announcing server maintenance days after the domains / servers have been "having issues", is not normal especially for e-commerce sites. All of that communication would be made either 24-48hrs in advance, be finalized in a staging environment and pushed / tested to production and there would be at most 30 minutes of downtime. Assuming unforeseen issues, a rollback would take maybe an additional 30 minutes.

Now assuming it was just regular server / domain issues, they would have communicated that to the community in mere minutes. Not have GaryOpa, who totally isn't affiliated in any way, give a sterile and honestly flaccid response when pressured days after. If this site wasn't e-commerce and core to their bottom-line I could maybe see this slide as just incompetence, or not a priority as it's just a hobby project... but that's obviously not the case. Not to mention it's not exactly rocket science to keep a website up unless they are literally hosting it in GaryOpa's basement. Sites like these are likely managed hosting with no real need of intervention on their part. So issues like this should never arise, unless there was a host-wide issue.

It's also suspicious that they are deleting comments making any mention of the issue on their Facebook page. Nothing inherently wrong with it, but it's telling.

Well they are all on Cloudflare so it isn't really normal for Cloudflare to die. (not 100% sure how it works), and Maxconsole is registred on the same provider so it isn't a problem with that site.

if the person who started maxconsole and the person who was named in that comment are one and the same, they have been having issues with nintendo since back in the 90's so it's highly probable he was arrested/extradited again

Oh trust me, I know x3
I had to figure out a lot yesterday to follow the puzzle of Paul Owen. Former owner of TX.

If the domain no longer has its Nameservers set to Cloudflare then Cloudflare will die since it's no longer pointing to it.

I bought my SX PRO (with a license) a few days ago. I didn't have time to activate the license. Is there a solution to activate my license without the site? I need it for next weekend.
I bought the SX pro to make my life easier... it's a failure.

This is the risk you take of buying piracy material with a DRM.
