EDIT: It looks like some folks in this thread figured out how to get the game running so I don't need to link the game since the fixes to inject it can be found in this thread.

So I ended up figuring it out. I just used ocarina of time as a base, and changed the roms id to the japanese one using a hex editor. That seemed to work.

Does it work completely without crashing? If so then awesome since I know some of you were having that issue.

Hello everyone! I'm having an issue: SNES injected games run too quick, like 2x speed. What am I doing wrong? Anyone having the same trouble?

Hi, I've been getting an issue when injecting a ROM. I just get the error "Request Timed Out" when pinging Google. Is this something to do with the injector, Nintendo's recent eshop piracy changes, or Google itself?

I am also getting a timeout. It pings google and then just shuts down

I injected 2 NDS roms and 1 SNES three hours ago. Are you sure you have all the files in the “Files” folder, including the two .png images? (.tga didn’t work for me)

So, I finally found the titlekey somewhere and injected Super Smash Bros. into the Donkey Kong 64 base.

The game runs great!.. until it crashes randomly during a battle. Anyone manage to successfully inject Super Smash Bros AND play it? Menus and character select work fine, but it freeses for me randomly in the middle of a fight.

-EDIT-
Actually, it worked once I did the hex edit mentioned for Super Smash Bros. in the compatibility wiki of the rom's header. Basically just changed NALE to NALJ. Played some matches without crashing! Woot!

On another note, why does hex editing the rom fix this?

I injected it into the FZero base about a year ago and played through the whole game (never crashed/glitched) to unlock the bonus characters, stage, and item select. I didn't need hex edited the rom ID to NALJ, but I'm pretty sure I used the SSB Japan config file. Did you ever try just using the Japan config file? Yesterday I updated my game to remove the dark mask and make it widescreen. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiu-vi...idescreen-support.517158/page-17#post-8431485

Yeah, I did use the SSB Japan config file from the start. I injected to a couple of different base games and both times it would crash randomly during battles. Now, I decided to try the header hex edit change just for the hell of it and it seemed to stop the crashing.

Weird that you injected just fine from the start with no hex editing.. Hrm. BTW, can I have your save file with everything unlocked? lol.

I've never had luck with Injected Virtual Console saves because everybody likely has a different Title ID / Base. Manually replacing files using FTPU is the only way it could potentially work. If you are comfortable doing that, I can send you my sav!

GBA option 2 Mario and Luigi not working

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Using 1.23 for GBA failed. I'm not expert but looks like you have a couple "Mario & Luigi" that need the & escaped as ^& in GBA.bat.
for example line 92 - echo Enter the title key for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (EUR):
should be - echo Enter the title key for Mario ^& Luigi: Superstar Saga (EUR):

making that change 3 times fixed this
View attachment 109465

still it zipped through to the do you want to package it promt really fast. I assume too fast. then when I choose to package it, the window closed w/o building it.

changing to zelda as the base fixed it. maybe there were more &s that need to be escaped that I didn't notice.
Yes, this is the problem
