Does the .3dsx version of twilight menu have a way to get back to the menu without rebooting when using L+R+Down+B?

what is the button combo to exit out of a game and go back to the menu? Not soft reset in-game. On my flashcard I used to press l+r and touch. l+r+down+start+select only softresets, no other combo I tried so far worked

I just saw you had a similar question. This combo does not work for me at all and I'm not using the 3dsx version.

Hold L + R + Down (on the DPad) + B for some seconds, it's not immediate

Yeah, you do have to hold down for about 2 seconds @Fil o_O , but for me it doesn't actually go back to the menu and instead it reboots my entire 3ds

Edit: L+R+Start/Select to soft reset doesn’t work for me and I do actually have game patching enabled. Pressing L+R+Start+Select reboots my entire 3ds just like L+R+Down+B. L+R+Down+Start+Select hard reboots and shows my splash screen unlike the other methods to reboot. And L+R+Touch doesn’t do anything for me

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you could help me. I was trying to play Mario Kart DS from my sd card but the game freezes at the same point every time. I tried re-packing the rom using DSlazy multiple times (I even tried different roms) and nothing seems to fix it. I'm pretty sure I did the repacking process correctly, but i've never done it before so maybe i messed it up. I'm using the newest Twilight Menu++ and i'm on a 3DS XL

What's new?
  • A message will now be shown, if either nds-bootstrap (depending on either Release or Nightly) or the GBA BIOS (for GBARunner2) aren't found.
(Does not apply to Acekard theme.)

I have just updated and now the partition table of the sd card is gone! I cannot access the sd card anymore.
I launched R-Studio and found that the partition was still there, just not accessible. You did mention to make a backup when launching GbaRunner2. But all I did was replace the _nds folder as described. I launched TWL menu launcher, got a white screen and after that the SD cards partition table got corrupted.
Would you happen to know how I could restore it? I had fortunately made a backup, but that is already 1.5 weeks old and there are some saves I'd like to get back.
Also, would you know what caused it? Again, I did not touch GbaRunner.

Edit:I was able to restore the data on the SD Card. I dumped a sd Card RAW image, formatted the card and just copied everything back. Fortunately the data was all readable. However: the _nds folder is empty, and the TwilightMenu++ launcher is gone from the Home Menu.

If I messed up, what was it?
If it is a bug caused by the update, it might be worth investigating? Again, didn't touch GBArunner2, I just copied the updated _nds folder contents to the sd card, booted the device and launched the Twilight Menu++ --> white screen --> SD card corruption.

No one else has this issue, so your SD card is likely dying.
