well i mean , if i can still play my games i dont really care about anything online related , my question was more , i never connected my nintendo account to my switch , the switch just has a local player , can they stop me from playing ? thats what i thought the ban meant (not only banning online service ? ) i downloaded update for some of the game i installed .but now you got me scared so after that i dont think ill connect my switch to internet anymore .

You better keep it offline now on at all cost don't connect to ONLINE, with ban they can stop you from even updating the games you have. (you can still update games by downloading the updates and installing them with tinfoil)

I find it suspcious that actually there's nothing they both really did to be banned. But they used AutoRCM to boot OFW.
Would that not be a hint that Nintendo is detecting this and bans people for that?
I have my switch modded for about 2 weeks now and check every other day if I was banned.
Using SX, emunand, 2 sd cards, cfw not online.
I will report back if something bad happens....

Every time I would use AutoRCM, I would always turn it off when I wanted to play regular Nintendo Switch Games. Then when I wanted to play emulation, I would turn on AutoRCM. When I got banned, AutoRCM was turned off when I booted to the regular Nintendo Switch OS. For some reason all the other times I did this, It would work fine but, now out of nowhere they got me

No, I did not use SX OS
It took them like 3 weeks because I ordered my Jig from ebay and right when I got my Jig from the mail, I modded my Switch using ReiNX and a SD card. Everything worked fine after that, I would get an occasional Nintendo Switch Crash but, that was because when I loaded a game from Retroarch it couldn't play it. Before I got banned my Switch crashed trying to play a game via Retroarch....idk this stuff is weird.
So many things could lead to a ban it seems. Pretty scary to a newcomer. Is just running the 'A definitive way to test if your Switch is patched or not (purchases after 07-2018)' tutorial still completely safe? As in: no traces left behind at all that could potentially be used to ban me?
Yes because this loads a payload before the NAND is ran. It carries the same risk as backing up the NAND and so far, no one has been banned for backing up the NAND. Right now, it appears Nintendo is banning users who don't even touch LayeredFS, .XCI, or .NSP; in other words, they are banning users for using homebrew/booting into CFW.

I guess I'll reorder it so eShop usage is the first row then if people made a clear NAND. Also there is technically one report of someone being banned for using EmuNAND, but he did not make a clean NAND before setting it up so it doesn't count as an EmuNAND ban.
In other words just for EmuNand there is not yet a ban reported.
Did the same by the way. Had a virgin and, and created an EmuNand from it that stays offline.
In theory if bans are not random it is pretty clean.
I just got banned after turning on my switch today. I did a big fuck-up by updating I think. I never did much homebrew on my switch, so I thought I was fine.
