I could assist with testing the rewrite too if you like, I'm looking to complete a full run of randomized conquest and I keep encountering issues with the current release. (There were a few characters that caused crashes when I attempted to recruit them when randomizing all three paths together).
Place modified romfs folders mentioned in first post in SD:/luma/titles/titleid/romfs. Replace titleid with your game's title ID. Enable "enable game patching" in your Luma settings. As for getting the modified files, look into how to run Windows on a Mac.

your path should be if USA SE:
luma/titles/0004000000179800/romfs
if EU SE:
luma/titles/000400000017A800/romfs
Double check if those are correct. Also, use luma. I had quite a few issues using NTR with the randomizer compared to Luma. Make sure there are no .bin files by accident (delete them), they should all be .bin.lz
Make sure your files are all being compressed. I've been having trouble with getting FEAT to compress some .bin files.
That's strange. I'm using a digital copy of USA SE as well, but it worked just fine for me. Are you using a digital copy of USA SE or European SE? Does the game work without any patch applied?
Update Luma, but it could also be a problem with the randomized files, so try re-randomizing?
It's part of all of the SEs except for the Japanese SE. You have the SE in the US/EU SE. Try again.
You will crash on random cutscenes each randomization and there's nothing anyone can do about it, other than the rewrite, according to the 3dshacks Discord people.
