Hi guys, has anyone had this issue? I tried opening the Splatoon Amiibo cards in photoshop, which were downloaded from from the Mega link, but got this error. After ignoring, the image because all crapped out. Tried googling around and saw that it had to do with how the color profile was saved or meta data tied to the image. Any help on fixing this?

The one compc posted works for me. I dont know what one you are referring to though.
It was the alt color variations for Boy, Girl and Squid based off the alt color amiibos (via this link https://mega.nz/#F!98gAVIoQ!jShhXGdxx3hxdP1g3NmDLA!k4onCBiQ)
I have to look at which version of PS I have on my computer but it gave that error when attempting to open.
ok a few things....
1. if you link a mega site you should give credit for who uploaded it, or better yet just link the post they shared it from.
2. if you want help with something like this, you need to be as specific as possible. Give exact file names and such.
3. I downloaded splat-boy-2.jpg and it worked fine
4. since its only a jpg Im sure there are many other programs out there that you can use to help you convert it if your version of photoshop isnt liking the meta data.
Sorry, my intentions weren't to come in as such but to answer your points:
1. I came into this thread late so I used the link that was sourced at the top of page 44 by EmanueleBGN. I assume it's CompC's given the thread.
2. I'll make sure to remember that for any future requests. I was more just asking about the error itself and if anyone encountered it before. I wasn't asking anyone to do the work for me. The file was actually Splat-boy-violet.
3. I guess it's me and I'm not doing something right with PS. I'll try again. I'm currently using CS4 Extended Version 11.0.2 on my mac.
4. I'll look for other programs if CS4 isn't working for this need.
That link and all the cards on that mega page were made by EmanueleBGN, as I understand it. When troubleshooting a problem you need to determine if its a problem with you (your photoshop) or them (the file). The quickest way to do that is if someone else can open the file. If it works you know the issue is with you and if it doesnt work you know the issue is with the file. There is no point looking into the error message if the file is corrupt. I have now downloaded the same file, and it works in CS6. A quick trick would be to open the file in paint and save it out as a png. The png may be able to be opened by your photoshop as paint usually removes meta data.
I made them with PS CC 2017. That was not an error, simply your computer has a different colour profile and you should be able to open them. Otherwise, just download the RTP (ready-to-print) files and print the ones you need.

I'm having trouble finding the official character artwork for the super Mario amiibo series (the ones shown on the box). In particular I'm missing Luigi, Wario, Gold & Silver Mario, Daisy, Rosalina, Donkey & Diddy.
Does anyone mind sharing these, or are there simply no hires images? Because others (OP too) use different images, not the ones matching the actual figurine...

Wow, you really put a lot of effort into the Luigi. I'll definitely be using this one. Thanks a lot for the help.
As for the other characters, Daisy I found by myself in HQ, Rosalina one that's quite close to the original. I will cut the white bg from the image you provided and then compare which looks better...
The Kongs are a pain. The fur of this only image matching the pose on the package looks like sh#t, and since there's none for Diddy with the barrel, I settled with different renders from Tropical Freeze.
I've also started on my Smash Bros Cards. Found good renders for every char exept Falco & the Mii Sword Fighter (Nobody likes these, eh?)

So, I've come to the realization that the PVC Ntag cards I purchased aren't as wide as the A4 size the images have already made at. Instead they are the size of a credit card. Sadly that's also the size the special printer tray I bought for printing directly onto the cards is as well. I apologize if this has been answered already, i'm still reading through all the pages, but has anyone resized the images to fit the credit card size of these cards? If not, I would like to work on doing that, though a little direction on the best way to do it would be great. I have photoshop, but I haven't really used it much. Also, are there NFC cards you can buy that are the proper size?
