Im having trouble restoring my mii channel on vWII. Wuphax installed fine, i have the wuphaxBackup.app file on my sd card, when i go into wuphax and press "b" it says everything went ok. Now when i go into vWII and into mii channel, it keeps loading the hackmii installer. Any ideas?

I have tried restoring using the old wuphax method with the same result.

I think you backed up (pressed A) twice or something, which caused the wuphax to backup the installer and overwrite the previously taken Mii channel backup. If that's the case, then this is my backup (US, not sure if it makes a difference). Just extract it and replace the one you have on your sd card (root) with this one and then try to restore again.

NOTE: DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK.

Dear Law, I guess I press [A] twice. May I have a copy to restore?

Ok this will sound newb, but what do you mean by NUS. Nintendo US? I can't believe google couldn't find someone who has uploaded it somewhere.

I am after the backup that wuphax makes.

Is there a process/wiki I can follow to do this? I would except that my vWii would think that everything is fine and wouldn't attempt to download it from anywhere.

will this work for the vWii. There seems to be a lot of literature saying to avoid using Wii WADS etc.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So frustrating. Double backup your mii channel after you patch it and then you lost.

You can use Wii wads ad long as it's just games. If it's a homebrew wad you need to make sure it says "vWii" or you're asking for trouble
