I guess its just a bug in Nintendon't then? The youtube video I linked contains the download for it (just 30mb) so if anyone else can please try it and see if they can get it going that would be great!

Thanks!

i never tryed that demo but i know people that got it working by renaing it to another title id with ntsc region letter, but this was before those new checks for id6 or id4 or whatever were made, try renamed the title id to another ntsc game any one and then trying the demo.

It's for games like Animal Crossing where you can visit another town (or something like that).
FWIW slot B support is also useful for PSO, because you need slot B to load other players' characters into splitscreen mode (as well as to do offline trades between your own characters on different memory cards). Thanks for adding it. :)

Pick some random letters so that the titleID is in the form GXXEYY and it should work. XX is the game ID and YY is the publisher ID or something like that. Shouldn't matter as long as it starts with G and has E for the 4th letter.

I have a problem with nintendont. it may crash in some parts of the games.(and makes a beeeeeep sound)
My games files aren't corrupted. one time i fixed it via hard formatting my flash memory but it has happened again.
is this a problem of my flash memory ? or I should transfer games images to my flash driver in some specific way ? (copying image,cut-pasting it, renaming it before transferring it,etc)

In Nintendo's title IDs it's the publisher code.
ABBCDD
A = console ID
BB = game ID
C = region
DD = publisher

On disc titles it's immediately followed by 0x00 or 0x01 for disc volume ID then the revision number as a byte.
Interesting, I've always assumed it's revision since it's almost always "01" lol

01 is Nintendo. :D

Codes from GameTDB (I think it's the publisher and I don't thing the GC actually uses that code. The developer/publisher info is in opening.bnr)

I'm having a problem where my games will boot, but after a short time, I'm told "An error has occurred. Turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo GameCube Instruction Booklet for further instructions." This is happening with every game and I didn't have this problem before. I'm using a 1 TB Toshiba hard drive. I have an original white Wii (with the GC controller ports), and I don't remember doing anything to my IOS before this problem started happening. I also tried reformatting my hard drive, which didn't do anything.

That's post game boot so something is preventing the game from reading the ISO. Either you have a hidden partition or the drive isn't partitioned correctly. (Or it's just not compatible.)

I figured out my issue. I had to redownload my ISOs because I had shrinked them. They're working just fine now 1:1.
EDIT: Never mind. I still have an error with a 1:1 ISO. The thing is that the game works for a while. It takes a while for it to give me an error.

Do these partitions look correct (on Disk 2)?

Nintendont *should* work with logical (extended) partitions, but it's entirely possible that something is breaking it.

Try redoing the partition layout using a primary partition instead of logical.

I think that actually worked. I'm having no problems yet. If I have any more problems, I'll post again. Thanks.
EDIT: kms. it just crashed on me.

I changed the hard drive partition to primary and tried reinstalling IOS58 (v6176, which I got from ModMii), and I still get errors. I had DIOS-MIOS installed before, so maybe I have some of that left ever and it could be causing problems for me now? BTW, as I said before, the games run just fine. I can usually play them a bit, but after a while everything stops loading for a second and I get an error. For example: If I wait on the Sonic Gems Collection game select, after a while (maybe up to 5 minutes), the animated background will completely stop and the music will stop as well, but I can still navigate the game select. After about 3-5 seconds, I get "An error has occurred."
