  • Random niche information that I couldn't find elsewhere:
replacement original Switch JoyCon Rail screws do indeed fit the lower two screw holes on each of the Switch OLED JoyCon rails, if you happen to need replacements for those exact screws.

Everyone assuming the law is holy and infallible; While something may be legally correct, that doesn't mean it can't be called a dick move

Oy, I don't even disagree with the outcome of the LoveROMs case. It is undoubtedly valid under the law. I disagree with the mindset that the law must simply be accepted as unwavering and absolutely correct, and the position that we shouldn't complain about the law itself.

Someone did something illegal, they got punished. I'd call that absolutely correct.

The law is the law, that's all there is to it. Sure, Nintendo could just be smart and crush all ROM sites at once by simply releasing their games themselves, but they have SHIT management, so they chose to go with the law... Thing is, it's not opinion that decides ethics, it's the law itself, if anything, opinion is what deviates from what is theoretically "correct", nothing you can do about that.
I dislike when people say "If you don't like it don't buy it" as a response to complaints about a company. We weren't gonna buy it anyway.

But having a less lackluster product would help us buy...
Any "legal" statement, unless citing specific legal provisions or court decisions, is almost certainly BS. That's what lawyers do best.

Hoping that a company that owns the source content of a fan-translation will pick it up is unrealistic at best and delusional at worst.

    I loaded the cheat.dat
    Searched for mario kart.
clicked the + sign and select wifi code.
    Create code name.
Then it asked me to open something. I tried opening the mkds rom but it reverts back to create code name.

I haven't tested this on recent Android versions so they may have broken something with Intents. Both the AR editor and WFCReplay require storage access. The ROM also must be unzipped.
Funny how people are more willing to call out iOS hacks than 3ds hacks: gbatemp.net/threads/rootless-ios-9-jailbroken.397236/#post-5666584

Remember, according to smealum, downloading GB(C), SNES, GBA, or Virtual Boy roms does not constitute piracy.

pirated 3DS software... the question even asks if it can run roms, which is clearly referring to pirated 3ds games. why do you hate smealum :P

I know. I'm just saying that he didn't specify what kind of pirated software can't be run on hbmenu in the last FAQ question. Therefore, because hbmenu can run blargSNES/Gameyob, all ROMs for those emulators must not count as pirated content.

The exploit itself runs emulators, not pirated software. hbmenu cannot run pirated software. the emulators handle that part. sure, by extension the emulators could theoretically be used to play pirated software but that is in no way related to smealum's policies in any way
Hey i really need ios 58-64-v6432 because my wii u get bricked. I have ios 58 installer but not the pure ios 58. Can you send me as Pm?
What if smealum nuked his own website because ninjhax can now be used for piracy?
