To install this if I already have haxchi and dimok's patcher would I just have to make a folder called mocha inside of the apps folder then drag the mocha.elf file into that then install it from homebrew? I'm a bit confused.

Download it with the homebrew app store and boot it.

Okay thank you. After booting it do I need to follow any additional steps or will it boot me back into the homescreen? also What benefits does this have over the brazilian installer method using haxchi and dimok's patcher?

You'll have to configure it, it's very self explanatory though.

Okay cool, what can this do that the method that I listed can't? For example here's a few things that I have to and can't do with haxchi and dimok's patcher I have to load nnutpatcher everytime I want to update or play online, use sigpatcher everytime to install a DLC or certain titles, can't dump games to the system from discs, can't install games asides from using utikdownloadhelper and would really like to have a nand backup in case anything ever goes wrong ha. Can mocha cfw do any of these things or what would be the point in using mocha over the setup I currently have? thank you.

Honestly, it's not really an improvement over sigpatcher, it's really more of a redNAND improvement.

Ah okay well since I'm on dimok's patcher and not rednand I probably don't think I'll have much use for this, unless I can install games from discs or from files to an external hard drive or any of the other things I mentioned. For a second I thought it was like a9lh for 3ds ha.

Has anyone tried using the vWii after booting into RedNAND with Mocha?

Edit: Finished the nand dump, tried the vWii menu and it still doesn't work. Not a problem though as no one mentioned it working. I do want to thank Dimok and everyone else working on the public IOSU exploits.

OK, so I spent the last 30 minutes playing with Mocha and I am very impressed with it.

To answer some questions asked here

1) If you've already got redNAND setup then Mocha will use that and will not redump your NAND. Just delete the fw.img from your SD card, install Mocha, select redNAND mode and it will boot up.

2) CBHC works perfectly with Mocha. Once Mocha is installed grab and install the latest version of CBHC, install it then run it and it has an option to autoboot into Mocha CFW. It works a treat.

3) You DO NOT need to use the coodboot system xml option in Mocha for it to work with the latest CBHC. I haven't touched this option as I have no need to.

4) vWii does not work (at least not for me) under Mocha

Huge thanks to @dimok and @FIX94 for their hard work, I know have a Wii U that goes straight into redNAND when I power it up with a fully working recovery mode should anything go wrong.

Just one request though, is it possible to implement some kind of auto updater for Mocha? Its on v0.1 and I don't see it staying that way very long so it would be nice if I could boot into the Mocha menu and auto update it from there instead of having to go through HBL every time. Not sure if its even possible or not.

Is there a reason why the TGA file is upside down?
Edit: Nevermind, the original is mirrored as well.
But I'm surprised about the solution. Wouldn't Full HD be better as it's the resolution the Wii U can output? Or is it just for the Gamepad and if yes, can't an image be shown on the TV screen as well?
Sorry for these dump questions but I haven't used Mocha yet. But I'm interested in doing a custom splash screen. :)

Alright, to bring a "female touch" to it here are two splash screens I made:
Mocha.png
Mocha_Redhair.png
The first one is from a photo shoot I did by myself and the second one is made out of a wallpaper image which is available to everyone without copyright so they should be good.

Also here's the Mocha CFW logo with "by Dimok" assigned to it as I prefer it if anybody's interested:

No I'm male. :P
As I wrote the second one (with that red hair) is just a wallpaper I googled which is not copyrighted so I was free to use it.

I thought literally you had done your own Photo Shoot sometime "The first one is from a photo shoot I did by myself" funny, good though! :)
